Dear Creative Self,
I believe you are part of our main PURPOSE here. To create our reality whatever it may be. We have always been in contact, but I didn't name you, it was just what you did naturally. I believe you are not limited to art + making, you are so much more!
You are a CREATOR. We all are. Anything can become an ART not just "art" itself.
You love to brainstorm the possibilities. Sometimes the ideas flow more quickly than you can create or contemplate how it will be manifested. This FLOW is EMPOWERING. You are best nurtured by nature or while travelling. Something about these zones that wake you up each morning with a smile on your face and spark in your eye.
If you worry too much about execution + standards (usually those of others) you get discouraged. If you just put it down, let it out and let it go...you make space for it to EVOLVE. I am remembering to Trust. TO RELEASE CONTROL. Better to put something down without judgement rather than leaving blank pages out of fear. of what? Of it not looking how you invisioned it? Of the outcome deviating from the first inception? How it will be revieved? Remember these are not your concerns. No matter what you must CREATE!
I have denied you. I put restrictions on you. I really worried during one spell where I felt I lost you - it was bad timing because we were in the midsts of our architecture thesis. I have since recovered you, I have no plans of letting you out of my sight! I chose a career in design in an attempt to leverage the inspiration you draw in...all the ideas. I AM IN . Currently, You are coming in the form of collage (a craft I have always fallen back on) + words. You are meditation. You let go of thinking mind when you snip snip paste breathe (repeat). If u think too much u loose the FLOW. The collage carries over into all of this life. This Collaged Life of ours. Snip from this experience. Paste to this current reality. Arrange, rearrange. Reimagine possibilities. Of who we can be. Of who we are. BREATHE. You are WONDERFUL.
