A while back I was exploring what I learned in Design school and how it can be applied to life. I have a new found desire to complete all this ideas I have been holding on to and let them finally be completed and let out in to the world - or discarded if that is their fate.

These are the 7 principals of Interior Alchemy and their relationship to the Architectre and Interior Design process.

There is a process called PROGRAMMING where you learn everything you can about your project. How many? How much space? What do you want to accomplish? What are the requirements?  what is the deadline? Budget? Preferences?

In life this is the foundations of SELF-DISCOVERY.

Exploration is Key

My career wasn’t finding a formula and sticking to it. Instead is was one of EXPLORATION.

- joni mitchell

LIFE is an exploration.

So, if I am looking for a formula, I may be forever lost.

What if this life is for figuring out along the way? Trying out new things that spark my interest and accepting the opportunities that present themselves.

What if I dream up this life with my thoughts and play it out with my actions? I must take actions that lead me out of fear and into a life of LOVE.

a life of happiness

a life of wellbeing

I know this feeling best when I am traveling and literally exploring. Traveling to knew places always opens my eyes to new possibilities.

What if I bring awareness not only to those things I find comfort in, but also in those things that push my boundaries?

What if I let go of my notions of what I can and can not do to be free to become so much more? What if I ask how I can be of service today?

What if I aim to see everyday as an adventure? Every moment as an inspiration. Then perhaps, I will ALWAYS be in love with this life.

my whole life is an EXPLORATION.

It is here that I find connection + meaning. It is here where I access my inner wisdom.

I dream up my best life through my actions.
