Soul Path (musings)

She wrote to keep her mind from the bondage of excessive thought.

So much input churning within the calm (a true facade, not a fake)

She was on a quest to understand the nature of things (from the building blocks to construction). To rebuild the blueprint that she helped to create (many many moons ago), but which began to fade upon her entry into this space.

She took this task literally at first, choosing a career in manifestation (from drawing to building).

Now she sees the cosmos within her very soul and how she is a mirror for the world and the world her mirror.

Let there be LIGHT.

the path is one of embodying the light in the here and now - parallell timelines of the the mind, the astral or emotional body, and the vital energy body that underlies the physical form.

Fulfilment (Redefining Success)

Work hard, be passionate about what you do and don’t worry about success because if you do the first two things right then success will follow.

Orlando Reindorf

What if I flipped the tables.

What if I measured my success by my actions verses the results? What if i measured success by the level enthusiasm that fills my day. Then it will like feel more like joy, rather than hard work.

that is fulillment

that is inspired living.

Celebrate the Rituals of Home Life

IMG_20170217_132532.jpg

I believe seeing home life as a Sacred Ritual can elevate everyday life to a new level. Imagine if you could turn everyday routines into special moments.

Why not turn your home into a sancturary for your life? It would a combination of intention + presence.

Good DESIGN is no longer just about colour, function and aesthetics. It is about creating a product, an idea, a space that can enhance our life and help us deal with what obstacles this changing world is throwing at us. Our houses are no longer simply homes but places where we work, study, socialise and shop. We demand dwellings that celebrate the rituals of domestic life and allow for privacy and change of mood.

Amanda Talbot

Some ideas on activities that can become 'rituals' when they are consciously done  with clear intention:

  • Waking Up

  • Make the bed thank the bed

  • Music while cleaning up

  • Opening all the windows welcoming a breathe of fresh air + a fresh start

  • A candle blessing

  • Thanking things as they are put away.

  • Food prep

  • Brushing teeth

  • Showering

  • Going to Bed

I will leave this musing here and revisit each topic above as I continue to practice experiencing the everyday as ritual.
